DCSabers Policies
 

Hey there! Before you place an order, please take a few minutes to read through our policies. We know it's not the most exciting read, but it'll help make sure everything goes smoothly!
 

PAYMENTS

We handle all payments through our website unless your order needs a custom invoice—then we’ll sort that out directly. Klarna payment options are available only to UK residents for now (fingers crossed for international soon!). You’ll receive a digital contract for Special Order sabers, which must be signed before we start work. This contract covers everything from timelines to returns.
 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY SABER?
 

Custom Sabers: Our special order sabers have a lead time of up to 6 months unless we say otherwise. We’ll always aim to get it to you sooner, but with everything being handmade by just one person, quality takes time! RTS (Ready To Ship) Sabers: These sabers are already built and ready to go. After a final check, RTS sabers are dispatched within 2-5 business days. Got a special date in mind? We’ll do our best to accommodate birthdays or conventions—just let us know before you order. We can’t promise anything, but we’ll always try. We are not responsible for missed events, such as birthdays or conventions, but we genuinely do our best to meet special requests if possible.
 

UPDATES ON YOUR ORDER
 

Due to the high demand and custom nature of our work, we can’t provide bespoke updates on individual sabers. However, we share our progress regularly through live streams and in our Discord community.
 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
 

If You Need to Cancel

Within 24 Hours: You can cancel for a full refund, no questions asked. After 24 Hours: We’ll refund you, but with a 10% fee to cover costs of parts and initial work. After 15 Days: A 25% fee applies, as production on your custom saber will have begun. For Master Builds: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining 50% is due upon completion. Non-Cancellable Orders: Mystery Sabers, Master Builds, and Project Builds are not eligible for cancellation under any circumstances.
 

CONTRACTS AND CHARGEBACKS
 

To keep things fair and clear, custom orders come with a simple contract that sets expectations on both sides. We’ll send this within 24 hours of your order. The contract is legally binding and helps us protect against chargeback fraud. You’ll need to sign it before we start building your saber.
 

RETURNS
 

Sabers must be in their original, unused condition to qualify for a return. Contact us within 14 days of delivery, and we’ll get you set up with a return label. Once we receive the saber, we’ll inspect it and issue a refund within 14 business days, minus a 20% return fee and excluding original shipping costs. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and ensuring the saber is securely packaged. Important: Custom or personalized sabers, including unique etching or additional customization, are not eligible for return.
 

WARRANTY & REPAIRS
 

If your saber has a legitimate fault within 14 days of delivery, and we can’t fix it remotely, we’ll sort out a refund or replacement. After 14 days, our standard DCSabers Warranty applies. Warranty details can be found here. Customers outside of the warranty period are encouraged to contact us, as we may still be able to assist.
 

SHIPPING
 

We ship via UPS with full tracking and insurance. An adult signature is required on delivery. Free shipping is available on orders over £750. International buyers may be charged handling fees or customs taxes when importing our work. These charges are out of our control and are the buyer’s responsibility.
 

HARASSMENT POLICY
 

We’re all about good vibes. We treat everyone with respect and expect the same in return. Threats, blackmail, or harassment of any kind won’t be tolerated. If we receive any kind of hostile behavior, we’ll end communication. Your saber will still ship, but it’ll be your last order with us.
 

WHY DO WE CHARGE FEES FOR RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS?
 

When you place an order, we start buying materials and crafting your saber. If you change your mind, we’re often left with custom parts and lost time. The fees help cover these costs and keep our small business running smoothly. That said, we offer a 24-hour grace period where you can cancel without any fees. We often hear, “You can just sell it to someone else!”—unfortunately, it’s not that simple. Many of our pieces are highly customized, and resale isn’t always possible.
